‘Green’ Credentials to Celebrate
Since 2008, Leven Valley CE Primary School in Ulverston, have been busy taking steps to improve their school buildings and site. Rather than tackling the project in one go they have taken in a step at a time helping to break down a big project into something much more managable.
Leven Valley wanted their school to be more than a great place to learn, they also wanted to reduce their impact on the environment and carbon foootprint. They have installed green, living roofs and solar PV along with upgrading their lights to LEDs and even use eco-friendly paint.
